What a treat to see Chicago's O'Hare Urban Garden!

Last weekend, I had a connecting flight in Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. While walking from one terminal to another I noticed signs for the new O’ Hare Urban Garden located inside the airport.  What a treat!  It’s a 928 sq. ft. vertical  aeroponic garden located at the intersection between terminal 2 and 3 (mezzanine level). The garden produces local produce, all natural and pesticide free, used by many of the restaurant vendors in the airport. It was developed by the Chicago Department of Aviation and HMS Host Corporation as the worlds first vertical aeroponic garden located in an airport. If your flying through, definitely stop to see this. Way to go Chicago!
